Purchase Ledger/Accounts Assistant

Accounts and Admin Assistant Location: Leicester (Office-Based) Salary: £30,000 £32,000 per year (Depending on Experience) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts and Admin Assistant to join a growing company based in Leicester. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines accounts, finance administration, and general office support. Ideal for someone confident with purchase ledger, Sage, and day-to-day finance processes. Key Responsibilities: Processing purchase ledger invoices, matching POs, posting to Sage Reconciling credit card statements monthly Raising and sending purchase orders to suppliers Assisting with sales ledger tasks, including invoice generation and customer queries Posting invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and on time Keeping Excel spreadsheets and finance records up to date General administration duties data entry, scanning, filing, and document management Supporting across departments when needed a flexible, team-first attitude is essential Required Skills and Experience: Experience working in an accounts assistant or finance admin role Confident using Sage 50 (or similar accounting software) Comfortable with purchase ledger and finance processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good working knowledge of Excel and ..... full job details .....
