Purchase Ledger Controller 30,000 to 38,000 DOE East Kent Hybrid Free Parking We are partnering with this fantastic organisation to source an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join a busy Finance function, overseeing the full accounts payable process in a high-volume environment. Key skills and experience:Evidence of strong experience in a supervisory Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger roleStrong experience managing invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment runsConfident handling supplier reconciliations, queries and discrepancy resolutionStrong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics desirableGood understanding of accounting principles, VAT/tax and financial controlsExperience supporting month-end close, reconciliations and auditAbility to manage cash-flow/payment forecasting and meet tight deadlinesA proactive approach to process improvement and automationStrong communication skills, with the confidence to work across teams and influence stakeholders This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the purchase ledger function and drive improvements across AP processes.
