Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include: Process high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner. Reconciliation of supplier statements. Deal with supplier enquires either by phone, post, or email. Monitor debit PL account balances, processing refunds where necessary. Monthly reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger accounts. Process company payments. Assist with Year End audit and cash book maintenance. Produce P/L reports for budget holders. To be considered for the Purchase Ledger Assistant role, the candidate must have: Intermediate IT skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent numeracy, written and communication skills and problem-solving abilities are helpful. Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role is essential.
