Description

• Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Assist in preparing payment runs and liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Support the month-end process by providing accurate data and reports.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.
• Respond to internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• SAP & Ideally SAP Concur
• Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of work efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
