Purchase Ledger Clerk Glasgow City Centre £23,000 - £26,000 annually Full-time, Mon - Fri Reed Accountancy has an exciting opportunity for a recent college or university graduate who is looking to begin their career in accounting. We are working with a market leading organisation based in the heart of Glasgow city centre, to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team and kick start their accounting career. This would be ideal for a candidate that has a recent BA/HND/HNC in Accountancy and is passionate about forging a career in accounts. The main responsibilities of the role are: Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices Assisting with payment runs Performing supplier statement reconciliations Handling internal and external queries relating to purchase ledger Communicating regularly with suppliers and stakeholders Ad-hoc finance duties as required Training will be provided for the successful candidate and there is a wealth of progression opportunities to learn more senior month end duties.
