The company is embarking on an exciting new large project, creating the need for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small finance team. The Role: We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team for the duration of this new project (approximately 18 months, with potential for extension). This is a hands-on finance role, ideal for someone who thrives in a close-knit office environment and enjoys working as part of a proactive, organised team. Key Responsibilities: Process and reconcile supplier invoices promptly and accurately Maintain purchase ledger accounts and ensure payments are scheduled correctly Manage high-volume, high-value invoice processing Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries and statements Assist with month-end procedures and reporting Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required Candidate Profile: Proven experience in purchase ledger within a busy, fast-paced environment Strong numerical and organisational skills Confident using accounting software ..... full job details .....
