Description

• Process and code supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Handle supplier queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
• Assist with month-end tasks, including ledger reviews and reporting.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes where needed.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• A good understanding of purchase ledger processes and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
• Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Excel.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of -14.00 to -16.00, dependent on the level of experience.
