Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our client, a fast moving and interesting business in Hinckley, are looking for a purchase ledger clerk to come and start ASAP for a period of approximately 3 months, although this could go on for longer or become permanent. This is an office based role.

A company based in the manufacturing sector, located in Hinckley. This is an office based role with no home working.

Description

• Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Handle queries from suppliers regarding payments and invoices.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks related to the purchase ledger.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as needed.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• Experience working within an accounts or finance-related role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.

Job Offer

• An equivalent annual salary of -30-32,000 + holiday.
• Free parking on site.
• Hours are 8.30-5.
