Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for your next opportunity? Astute Recruitment are working with a well-established client based in Castle Donington seeking a confident and reliable individual to join their finance team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
- Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits and Hours:
- 37.5 hour working week
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:00pm (Potential for flexible start and finishes)
- Salary: Up to -28,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience
