Purchase Ledger Assistant Location: Office Based in QuedgeleyHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and is confident managing high volumes of supplier invoices.Key Responsibilities Process and accurately enter a high volume of supplier invoicesMatch and verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notesReconcile supplier statements and resolve any account discrepanciesSupport project costing and cost allocation processesPrepare and process supplier payment runsRespond to supplier queries promptly and professionallyAssist with month-end finance activities and reportingProvide general finance and administrative support as required About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable and Sage 50Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong IT skills, with Sage experience advantageousExcellent communication skills and the ability to build positive supplier relationshipsThe ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment Benefits Competitive salary of up to £30,000 (depending on experience)Company pension schemePrivate ..... full job details .....
