Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant (Week-to-Week Cover) East End of Glasgow Temporary - Week-to-Week (Sickness Cover) Fully Office-BasedA well-established and highly respected manufacturing company based in East End of Glasgow is seeking a Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to provide immediate support on a week-to-week basis, covering sickness absence.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching, and coding invoicesResolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal teamsReconciling supplier statementsAssisting with payment runs where requiredMaintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company proceduresAd hoc duties as requiredAbout YouProven experience in a high-volume purchase ledger roleStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience using Xero (preferred but not essential)Available at short notice and comfortable with flexible, week-to-week assignmentsWhat''s on OfferImmediate startEarly finish every Friday at 12:00pmFully office-based roleFriendly, supportive working environmentOpportunity to gain experience within a respected manufacturing businessCompetitive ..... full job details .....
