This role will suit an experienced accounts professional who enjoys working in a high-volume environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function, ensuring invoices are processed efficiently and payments are made in line with company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching, and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statements and resolving queriesLiaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding invoice discrepanciesAssisting with payment runsMaintaining accurate financial records and supplier accountsSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties when requiredCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable positionExperience working with high-volume invoice processingQBE (Qualified by Experience) or AAT qualified/studyingStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent communication skillsConfident using accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelHard-working with a proactive and positive attitudeAble to work effectively in a busy office ..... full job details .....
