The successful candidate must be able to communicate confidently in Punjabi , as this is essential to the individual's communication needs, wellbeing and ability to express their choices and preferences. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support. Communicate effectively with the individual in Punjabi . Support with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required. Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling. Support with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration. Provide companionship and emotional reassurance. Support with medication in line with the care plan and relevant training. Encourage independence, choice and dignity. Support with appointments, shopping and activities within the community where required. Complete accurate daily care notes and report any concerns promptly.
