Do you possess the skills required to excel as an Estimator such as preparing quotes, organisation and the ability to efficiently liaise with suppliers and third parties? The main purpose of this role is support the process of managing and preparing quotes across all drainage disciplines, in addition to supporting the general objectives of a busy regional drainage business. Key Responsibilities of an Estimator Produce standard day to day quotes for minor repair and remedial works. Producing accurate, competitive & cost-effective estimates that include labour, materials & equipment required for projects. Liaising with outside suppliers & subcontractors on technical data & prices. Assessment of specifications & working out relevant information & determine project scope. Monitor changes to project scope & adjust estimates accordingly. Use of estimating software tools Work with suppliers to gain cost effective materials, plant and equipment required for proposals.
