Pump EngineerSalary: 35,000 - 40,000 basic + 1k On-Call + 1k BonusBenefits: Door-to-door pay, overtime, on-call allowance, company van, pension, private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysA growing pump services business is looking for an experienced MandE Site Services Engineer to join its field-based team. This is a home-based role covering client sites, with occasional visits to head office.The role will involve servicing, maintaining, commissioning, installing and repairing pumps and pumping equipment across clean water and wastewater environments, including sewage treatment plants, submersible pumping stations, booster sets and pressurisation equipment.Key Responsibilities:Service, maintain, fault-find and repair clean water and wastewater pumping systemsWork on submersible pumps, surface-mounted pumps, motors, inverters, gearboxes, pipework and control panelsCarry out installations, modifications, upgrades and pump replacementsDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults on field-based equipmentSupport remedial quotations by reporting findings and required materialsComplete site reports using a mobile/tablet-based systemTake part in an on-call rota for breakdowns and emergency call-outsRequirements:Minimum 4 years'' experience in a similar pump, MandE, wastewater, clean water or building services roleElectrical bias with strong mechanical knowledgeExperience with 3-phase and single-phase systemsAble to read and interpret engineering drawings and control panel ..... full job details .....
