Pump Engineer

Job Description:

Location:-Bagshot, Surrey
Salary:40,000 - -55,000 per annum, depending on experience -65,000 - -70,000 OTE
Hours:-45 hours per week, with approximately 40 hours overtime per month
On-Call:-1 in 5 weeks

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced-Pump Engineer-to join our team in Bagshot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in-waste pumps or booster pumps-who is looking for a long-term role with a well-supported company.

The successful candidate will have around-10 years'' experience-working with waste pumps or booster pump systems and will be confident carrying out installation, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of waste and booster pump systems.
• Diagnose and repair pump and associated equipment faults.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.
• Work safely within confined spaces where required.
• Complete work to a high standard while following relevant health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Provide professional support and advice to customers and colleagues.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Approximately-10 years'' experience-working with waste pumps or booster pumps.
• Previous experience in a pump engineering or similar mechanical engineering role.
• Confined Space training/certification.
• A valid-CSCS card.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional and reliable approach to work.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
