Personnel Selection Recruitment Andover are pleased to be working alongside a fantastic local environmental community charity, based within Andover Hampshire. We are helping assist with the recruitment of a Publicity and Communications Officer of whom will be reporting to the Board of Trustees. This will be a 6 month contract role, working two days a week ( flexible ) and offers hybrid working opportunities. Salary is £52,000 pro rata ( £10,400 for the duration of the contract )An award-winning, community-led environmental charity with a mission to educate, engage and empower people of all ages to take action for the environment. They work in partnership with schools, community groups and volunteers to deliver hands-on projects in conservation, climate education and community regeneration. The Publicity and Communications Officer will take the lead in developing a clear and coherent communications strategy. They will strengthen the charity''s brand identity.Key Responsibilities Brand, PR and Publicity.Social Media and Content.Campaigns and Engagement.Media Relations.Monitoring and Reporting. Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, able to inspire people to connect to nature and to work closely within a team.
