Pub Cook - Part-Time (Permanent) in HedgerleyA well-established, award-winning, family-run public house is seeking an experienced Pub Cook to join its friendly and supportive team.Working hours:Lunchtimes, Monday to FridayEvery other weekend (essential)Days are negotiableFlexibility required during busy periods, including bank holidays and occasional private functionsThe Role:The kitchen serves traditional, classic pub food. The successful candidate will be confident in planning, preparing, and presenting meals using fresh produce, while remaining calm and efficient during busy services.Key Responsibilities:Preparing and cooking quality pub dishes from fresh ingredientsMenu planning and portion controlMaintaining high food safety and hygiene standardsWorking effectively both independently and as part of a teamManaging pressure during peak service timesRequirements:Previous experience as a pub or kitchen cookStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsLevel 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or aboveAbility to work every other weekendOwn transport required due to locationHours:Approximately 22.5 - 33.5 hours per weekPay:£18-£20 per hour, dependent on experienceJob Type:Part-timePermanentIn-person ..... full job details .....
