Responsibilities

• Assemble and install structural steel components in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete steel erection tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
• Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment, and materials to maintain safety and functionality.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address challenges and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in steel erection or a related field.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to steel erection.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
