The works involve the upgrade of multiple level crossings and associated rail infrastructure improvements along the Sizewell Branch Line, supporting the wider construction programme for the new nuclear power station. We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major UK infrastructure scheme with a strong pipeline of work through 2026 and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Setting out and surveying for rail and civil engineering works. Producing and maintaining accurate site records. Managing QA documentation and inspection test plans (ITPs). Supporting site management with daily planning and progress reporting. Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring works are delivered to specification. Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Assisting with temporary works coordination where required. Ensuring all works are completed in line with project quality and safety standards.
