PT Assistant Accountant

The Company A well-established business with a supportive finance team, looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity to become a key part of the finance function and support across a varied workload.The Role Working closely with the wider finance team, you''ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting function. This role will suit someone who is happy being hands-on, enjoys the transactional side of finance, and can hit the ground running.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing invoices and supporting purchase and sales ledger activitiesBank reconciliations and account reconciliationsAssisting with month-end processesPreparing journals and maintaining accurate financial recordsHandling finance queries and supporting internal stakeholdersProviding general support across the finance functionDesirable Skills and ExperiencePrevious Assistant Accountant experienceStrong transactional finance backgroundGood understanding of reconciliations and month-end processesExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAble to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyComfortable working in a hands-on finance roleThe PackageSalary circa £35,000 pro rata30 hours per week (flexible across 4 or 5 days)Hybrid working available with 1-2 days from homeSupportive working environment with flexibility around hoursFarrer Barnes Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or ..... full job details .....
