Psychology Teaching Assistant Start date: September 2025Hours: 8.30am - 4pm approximatelySalary: 19,500 - 22,500Are you a Psychology graduate looking to enter the world of teaching or educational psychology?Perhaps you have SEN Teaching Assistant experience?Psychology Teaching Assistant - responsibilitiesAs a Psychology Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with primary pupils who have learning difficulties such as autism, dyslexia and/or ADHD.Your role will involve: Providing 1:1 and small group support to students in the classroom - mainly English and Maths support. Assisting with the implementation of EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans). Supporting pupils with emotional difficulties. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with external practitioners to support pupils in their therapy sessions.
