Location: BoltonStart Date: ASAPContract: Long-term, running through to ChristmasHours: 0.8 FTE - 4 days per weekSubject: Psychology with some Health and Social CareWe are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Psychology Teacher to join a secondary school and Sixth Form in Bolton on a long-term basis, starting ASAP and running through to Christmas.This is a 0.8 FTE position, working 4 days per week, making it an ideal opportunity for a Psychology specialist looking for a long-term part-time teaching role. The successful candidate will primarily teach Psychology, with a small amount of Health and Social Care also included within the timetable.The RoleTeaching Psychology across secondary and Sixth Form.Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.Supporting students to develop their subject knowledge, analytical skills and exam technique.Teaching some Health and Social Care alongside Psychology.Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of different learners.Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and academic progress.Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department.Supporting students with their progression and examination preparation.The Ideal CandidateQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.Experience teaching Psychology at KS5/Sixth Form is desirable.Experience or knowledge of Health and Social Care would be advantageous.Strong classroom and behaviour management ..... full job details .....
