The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham from October 2027.
The successful candidate will teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of psychological theories, research methods and human behaviour.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement. You will also encourage students to think critically, evaluate research and apply psychological concepts to real-world situations.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have strong subject knowledge in Psychology
  • Have experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5
  • Be confident explaining psychological theories, concepts and research methods
  • Deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with different abilities
  • Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress
  • Build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues

You will be joining an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham, teaching Psychology to students at KS4 and KS5 and supporting their academic development.
