Supply Desk is working in partnership with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Slough, currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys helping students explore human behaviour, mental processes, and the science behind how we think and learn. About the Role:


  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
  • Teach core topics such as memory, attachment, social influence, psychopathology, and research methods
  • Use current research and real-life case studies to enhance learning and relevance
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and academic support
  • Contribute to the wider school community through assemblies, pastoral support, or enrichment activities (e.g. psychology clubs or mental health awareness events)



The ideal candidate will:


  • Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Have experience teaching Psychology at secondary or post-16 level (GCSE/A-Level/BTEC)
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver complex topics in an accessible and engaging way
  • Inspire students to think critically, explore psychological research, and apply their learning
  • Have excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development
