Hanson Recruitment is looking to recruit psychology students and graduates to work as teaching assistants at schools in Bristol.We offer flexible, well-paid work opportunities in school settings to both students and graduates with backgrounds in Psychology, Counselling, and Neuro-Science as Teaching Assistants. Many of our current candidates come from the University of Bristol or the University of the West of England, choosing to work for us because of the flexibility we can offer to students.Pay Rate: £90 - £100 per day (6.5 Hours) (subject to experience and qualifications). The work will be taking place in schools during the week during school hours ( Typically).Responsibilities include:Providing both dedicated support to individual pupils and the other pupils in classSupporting the students'' academic progress and developmentCollaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.Assisting with the student''s behaviour management and social-emotional developmentFollowing all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policiesQualifications and attributes:Experience working with children in any capacity (ideally sports)Psychology Degree/Equivalent Qualification or studying towards oneGood organisational and communication skillsAbility to work between hours during the week term-time.The role of a Teaching Assistant will enable you to use both your academic knowledge and interpersonal skills to ..... full job details .....
