Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to work with a Reception pupil at a welcoming primary school in the Fawdon area. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Psychology graduates looking to gain hands-on experience supporting a child with additional needs in an educational setting. What You''ll Be Doing: Providing consistent 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with SEND. Helping the pupil engage with classroom activities and routines. Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development. Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child. Working alongside teaching staff to implement personalised support strategies. Who We''re Looking For: Psychology graduates seeking experience within education, SEND or child development. Individuals with a genuine interest in behaviour, learning and development. Patient, resilient and empathetic professionals. Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
