We''re on the lookout for kind, thoughtful graduates who are ready to support pupils with additional needs across schools in Horncastle. You don''t need bags of experience, just the right mindset, a bit of patience, and a genuine interest in SEN (Special Educational Needs). Think autism support, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and a whole lot of 1:1 encouragement.
We have roles starting right away or can look for roles for September 2026.
What You''ll Be Doing:
* Supporting students with ASD, SEMH or PMLD across the school day
* Helping out with interventions and small group work
* Maintaining calm demeanour and being an adult the children can rely on and trust
* Working alongside teaching and support staff to create a positive, structured environment
What We''re Looking For:
* A Psychology degree (or relevant field)
* A calm, flexible approach. No two days are the same
* Bonus points if you''ve worked with children or adults with SEND, but not essential
* A genuine interest in helping young people thrive
