The Role andndash; Psychology andamp; Sociology Teacher

  • Teach inspiring, inclusive lessons in Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5
  • Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and pastoral duties
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive departmental improvement and student success
  • Adapt and differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Contribute to a positive school culture and uphold high standards of teaching and learning
  • For experienced teachers: take on additional responsibilities with TLR to shape curriculum and mentor others

Person Specification

  • Holds UK QTS (or in the process of obtaining it)
  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related subject
  • Demonstrates strong classroom practice and a passion for Social Sciences
  • Committed to inclusive teaching and making learning engaging for all students
  • A team player with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Eager to grow professionally and contribute to the wider school community
