Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner PWP

Job Introduction We are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative ''Improving Access to Psychological Therapies'' (IAPT) service. Wakefield Talking Therapies specialises in evidence-based psychological therapies. We are seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner for a fixed term position as part of the government backed NHS ''Health and Growth Accelerators'' trial. In line with the broader NHS priority of shifting from treating sickness to prevention, the accelerators will work on preventing depression and anxiety leading to people dropping out of work. This position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis ending on 31 st March 2026. While there is a possibility of extending the contract if additional funding is secured in the future, this cannot be guaranteed. Role Responsibility You will join our team in Wakefield to assist with the delivery of the service and as a key member of the team, you will be working closely with our clinical team to maintain our high standard and help us to develop. As a PWP you''ll be managing your own caseload providing evidence based treatments via one to one and group settings. You will get regular supervision and will be able to access regular masterclasses to develop your skills and support your career development.
