PSV/HGV Shift Engineer

PSV HGV EngineeR Mechanic – Southend on Sea

Permanent | 40 Hours per Week | £22.00 - £33.00 per hour

Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic based in Southend On Sea.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join the team in a permanent, full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking operation where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded.

Pay & Hours:

• Basic hourly rate: £22.00
• Overtime £33.00
• Basic annual salary: £45,760.00
• Overtime (after 40 hours/week):
• Shift pattern: 5 over 7
• Permanent contract
• Shifts - Days and Afters

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV and HGV vehicles
• Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs
• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition
• Maintaining accurate service and repair records
• Working in accordance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on PSV and/or HGV vehicles
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
• PSV licence (desirable)
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
