Salary: £53,000 per annum DOE + Excellent Benefits
Location: Heathrow Area

We are looking for an experienced PSV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join a busy and well-established fleet workshop in the Heathrow area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician with a background in PSVs, buses, coaches, HGVs or commercial vehicles to join a professional team, working on a modern and varied fleet.

PSV Technician / HGV Mechanic -The Role

You will be responsible for keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy through planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance

• Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault diagnosis

• Repairs and defect rectification

• MOT preparation and safety inspections

• Completing job cards and maintenance records

• Identifying additional defects and parts requirements

• Working as part of a busy workshop team

• Supporting apprentices where required

• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping

PSV Technician / HGV Mechanic -What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician

• City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A reliable, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
