Bus Mechanic – Wimbledon Area
£27.00 – £30.00 per hour | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off

A leading and well-established bus operator is seeking a skilled and reliable Bus Mechanic to join its engineering team based in the Wimbledon area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier company offering competitive pay, a strong work-life balance, and a modern fleet.

The Role:
As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of buses to the highest safety and performance standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, reliable, and compliant with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Perform MOT preparation and general repairs
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician, or PSV Engineer
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to high standards of safety and workmanship
