Job Title: PSV / HGV TechnicianLocation: NewburySalary: 21.80 per hour plus 4.29 per hour night premium for all hours worked after 6pmJob Type: Full Time, PermanentWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 2.00pm - 10.00pm. Occasional weekend working required.We are looking for a PSV / HGV Technician to join our engineering team at our Newbury depot.We want hard-working, self-starting individuals with a passion for repairing and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles. You will play an important role in ensuring our fleet is maintained to a high standard and operates safely and reliably.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician, mechanic or vehicle engineer looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive engineering environment.Key Responsibilities:Inspect, repair and maintain vehicles to a high standardInvestigate and diagnose mechanical and electrical faultsCarry out preventative maintenance and repairs as requiredRecord faults and completed work using electronic systemsFollow all safety instructions and proceduresReport issues promptly and accuratelyContribute to a safe, compliant and efficient workshop environmentEnsure all work is completed to the required engineering and safety standardsExperience and Qualifications:Our ideal candidate will:Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline or equivalentHave experience maintaining and repairing PSV, HGV or commercial vehiclesHave a strong understanding of mechanical and ..... full job details .....
