For over 20 years James Lewis Ltd has provided a wide variety of engineering services to the major Bus and Coach operators and manufacturers throughout the UK. We have varied projects with multiple clients throughout the UK and are looking for experienced and flexible engineers who are able to adapt to the diverse nature of our work.Role

Job Types: ContractSalary: £50,000 per annumShift: 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 either rotating earlies and lates or just straight Nightshift.Duties and Responsibilities

Undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet (including MOT preparation)Prompt repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standardEnsure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelinesEnsure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely mannerMaintain the highest Health and Safety standards in all tasksPrep and presentation for VOSA testsPreventative maintenanceFault diagnosticsPrepare and maintain all associated paperwork, reports and adminQualifications and Experience

Candidates must have a recognised qualification in PCV or HGV EngineeringIdeally +3 years of post-apprenticeship experienceRequirements

Own set of tools is essentialValid driving licenceA PCV driving licence would be ideal but not essentialAbout us
