Job Title: PRU Teaching Assistant

Location: Hillingdon
Salary: £85 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, ongoing

GSL Education is working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Hillingdon to recruit a PRU Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting secondary students excluded from mainstream education.

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils presenting behavioural challenges.

• Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and student engagement.

• Act as a role model and mentor for pupils.

• Experience in PRUs, youth work or behavioural support is beneficial.

• Resilient, calm and able to work under pressure.

• Confident managing challenging behaviour.

• Enthusiastic about re-engaging learners.
