We are currently seeking an experienced PRS Officer to join an organisation on a 12-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with experience within the Private Rented Sector to take on a varied role, supporting the effective management and delivery of housing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties and tenancies within the Private Rented Sector.

• Liaise with tenants, landlords, contractors and other stakeholders.

• Support the delivery of effective tenancy and property management services.

• Monitor property standards, compliance and tenancy conditions.

• Manage and resolve tenancy-related issues and queries.

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance where required.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure relevant systems are kept up to date.

• Support the organisation in delivering a high-quality service to customers.

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain effective relationships.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience within PRS, housing management or a related housing environment.

• A good understanding of tenancy management and housing legislation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

• The confidence to work independently and make appropriate decisions.

• A customer-focused approach with the ability to deal effectively with challenging situations.
