Install, test, commission, maintain and build electrical systems and components. Electrical Assembly: Prototype wiringBuilding and assembling of prototype unitsPoint to point wiring, cable crimping, looming and terminating workCorrectly use and maintain the tools of the trade including power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments.Locate and repair faults in electrical power supply equipment.Must have good soldering and wiring skillsCarry out mechanical fitting and relevant assembly work.Read and interpret electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, and assembly drawings.Must be able to use variety of hand tools such as crimp tools, wire strippers, spanners, screw drivers, ratchet sets as well as electric power tools.
