Prototype Technician

Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Elec/mech Prototype Technician for a contract position to support current projects. This is a 3-6 month contract with plenty of hours.

• Performing electro/mechanical assembly tasks to support critical projects
• Creating and working on prototypes as required
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
• Maintaining high standards of quality and precision in assembly activities
• Collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
• Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
• Documenting assembly processes and reporting any issues or improvements

• Experience of electro/mechanical assembly and wiring within defence or aerospace
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proficiency in creating and working with prototypes
• High calibre assembly skills with a focus on detail and precision
• Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in assembly work
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
