Protection and Control Design Engineer - Ready to play a key role in delivering the UK''s critical power infrastructure and energy transition projects?Our Client has a requirement for a Protection and Control Design Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in one of their offices across the UK.Role Purpose Deliver Protection and Control (PandC) design solutions for high-voltage transmission and renewable energy projects.Support FEED and detailed design activities across substation, transmission, and energy infrastructure schemes.Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects while maintaining quality, programme, and budget requirements. Job Role Responsibilities Undertake FEED and detailed design activities for Protection and Control systems across transmission and renewable energy projects.Develop interface designs, protection schemes, control philosophies, and settings coordination documentation.Produce and review design deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.Support the preparation of technical documentation, reports, bids, and client submissions.Participate in design reviews, hazard reviews, and technical assurance activities.Identify and manage technical risks and contribute to safe-by-design principles in accordance with CDM requirements.Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders ..... full job details .....
