Proposals Engineer roles and responsibilities
* Prepare mechanical or electrical estimates, proposals, and tender documentation in line with agreed procedures and deadlines.
* Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to develop technically and commercially viable tender submissions.
* Work closely with commercial and engineering teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness of bids.
* Support client engagement activities including presentations, meetings, and technical discussions.
* Maintain tender records, cost data, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating and tendering processes.

Proposals Engineer requirements
* HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or similar).
* Demonstrable experience within the water/wastewater sector or a similar engineering environment.
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and experience with estimating or engineering systems.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commercially aware approach.
