Property Surveyor

We are proud to be partnering with a leading Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a Property Surveyor on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based in Cheshire, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £36,700 per annum.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has surveying or property maintenance experience and is looking to take the next step in their careerDuties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out stock condition surveys and property inspections across the housing portfolioDiagnosing building defects and preparing specifications for remedial worksUndertaking pre and post inspections, damp and mould investigations, HHSRS assessments and general property condition surveysMonitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are completed to the required quality standardsSupporting planned investment programmes, major voids and asset management activitiesProducing clear reports and maintaining accurate property records to support future investment decisionsSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Experience within social housing, property maintenance or constructionKnowledge of stock condition surveying and asset management principlesUnderstanding of building defects, planned maintenance and property inspections Awareness of HHSRS, Decent Homes and housing compliance requirements Experience carrying out pre and post inspections or producing schedules of worksStrong report writing and problem-solving ..... full job details .....
