Property Solicitor / Chartered Legal Exec

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join our clients busy and supportive Property team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, acting for individuals and businesses alike. They will be proactive and approachable, with the ability to manage their own caseload while working collaboratively within the wider team. The role offers extensive training opportunities, with strong encouragement and support for career progression and professional development.Responsibilities

Advising clients on freehold and leasehold sales and purchasesHandling re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and equity release mattersManaging lease extensions, shared ownership arrangements, and tenancy agreementsLiaising with estate agents, brokers, and clients to ensure seamless transactionsProviding clear and tailored legal advice to a diverse client base, including first-time buyers, families, and investorsParticipating in departmental and firm-wide training sessionsSupporting the training and development of junior colleaguesCandidate Profile

Solid experience in residential and commercial property workProven ability to take responsibility and manage files independentlyStrong technical skills with a practical and innovative approachExcellent client care and case management skillsClear and confident communication, both written and oralCommercial awareness and sound financial managementEnthusiasm, flexibility, and a commitment to service deliveryAbility to prioritise effectively and meet deadlinesCompany Benefits
