Key Responsibilities Provide specialist legal advice, representation and assistance to Members and Council officers. Manage an ongoing legal caseload, prioritising matters effectively and meeting deadlines. Advise on a broad range of property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, licences and Landlord and Tenant matters. Advise on the structuring of property deals. Negotiate and complete property transactions on behalf of the Client. Assist with matters relating to Assets of Community Value, best value disposals and Subsidy Control. Represent the Client in legal proceedings and undertake advocacy where required. Attend statutory meetings, Committees and public meetings as required.
