Property Manager The organisation We are working with an established and well respected Property company who are looking to appoint a strong Property Manager at their office based in Manchester. This opportunity offers exposure to a diverse portfolio, mainly focussing on residential property, but also with mixed use properties. The portfolio includes assets subject to insolvency proceedings, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to manage properties through complex stages of their lifecycle. You will work alongside an established Recovery and Valuation team, insolvency practitioners and internal receivers, with direct exposure to Partners and other property specialists. The role and responsibilities Reporting to the Partners, the Property Manager will take responsibility for a portfolio of distressed properties, helping to secure, manage and maximise their value throughout insolvency proceedings. Key responsibilities: Take control of properties following appointment and coordinating security, inspections, re-keying and other necessary works. Manage contractors to maintain properties and meet relevant compliance requirements. Manage tenant and occupier relationships, including rent collection, lease reviews, queries and lease obligations. Support lease negotiations or terminations where required as part of the insolvency process.
