Property Licensing Officer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Licensing Officer to support the processing and administration of property license applications across Mandatory HMO, Additional Licensing and Selective Licensing schemes. This is a fully remote opportunity for someone with relevant property licensing experience who can manage an active caseload and ensure applications are processed accurately and in line with statutory requirements.The Role Process and validate property license applications across Mandatory HMO, Additional Licensing and Selective Licensing schemes. Review application forms, floor plans, safety certificates and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Undertake fit and proper person assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures. Assess property occupancy levels, room sizes and accommodation layouts against statutory standards. Prepare draft licenses, license conditions, determinations and associated correspondence. Manage license renewals, variations and amendments, ensuring applications progress within required timescales. Maintain accurate case records and update licensing databases and case management systems. Liaise with landlords, managing agents and internal teams to obtain outstanding information and resolve application queries.
