Salary: £45,000+ (dependent on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Property Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a well-established and respected legal team in the South West. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking firm with a proud legal heritage, where tradition meets modern legal practice and your contributions are genuinely valued.
This role offers the ideal balance of autonomy and collaboration, working alongside experienced litigators, junior lawyers and dedicated support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide range of contentious property matters
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and instructions to counsel
- Engage in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) where appropriate
- Manage a varied caseload covering both residential and commercial disputes
- Build strong client relationships through excellent service and tailored legal advice
- Take part in business development and networking initiatives
- (Optional) Appear in court for advocacy where applicable
Typical Cases Include
- Residential landlord and tenant disputes (e.g. possession, disrepair, deposit issues)
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters (e.g. lease renewals, forfeiture, dilapidations)
- Service charge and rent arrears disputes
- Boundary disputes and land access issues
- Rights of way and rights to light conflicts
- Adverse possession and title-related matters
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in property litigation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong legal drafting abilities and confident in case management
- A client-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Team player with a genuine interest in contributing to the firm’s success
