Are you an experienced finance professional looking to grow your career in an expanding business? We are seeking a Property Credit Controller to join our clients team in the heart of Reading. As a Property Credit Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our property portfolio. You will be responsible for managing tenant rent charges, arrears, aged debt, and supplier accounts, while also supporting the Property Accountant with day-to-day financial tasks. You will work closely with the property management team and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage the rent arrears process: liaising with tenants, sending arrears letters, and escalating cases where required.

Oversee aged debt recovery, including engagement with external debt recovery companies.

Review and approve utility payments, estate charges, and supplier invoices.

Maintain credit control for external supplier accounts and ensure accounts remain up to date.

Raise and verify purchase orders to ensure costs are correctly categorised.

Provide regular reports on arrears and aged debt, as well as bespoke financial reports as needed.

Support the Property Accountant and wider team with financial operations and ad-hoc tasks.

Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience, ideally in property or real estate.

Strong Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with Yardi software is advantageous.
