We''re currently working with an established and growing insurance business that is looking to add a knowledgeable and customer-focused Property Claims Adjuster to its Nottingham team. This role would suit someone with experience handling domestic and/or commercial property claims who enjoys investigating losses, reviewing technical information and making informed decisions throughout the claims process. The Role As a Property Claims Adjuster, you''ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of property claims from initial notification through to final settlement. You''ll investigate the circumstances surrounding each loss, review the available evidence, determine policy coverage and assess the overall value of the claim, ensuring each case is handled accurately, fairly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of domestic and/or commercial property claims through to resolution and settlement. Investigate claims to establish coverage, causation, liability and quantum. Assess claims involving buildings, contents, alternative accommodation, mitigation, restoration, trace and access and associated professional fees. Review surveyor reports, contractor estimates, photographs, schedules of work and other supporting documentation. Interpret policy wordings, endorsements and exclusions when making claim decisions. ..... full job details .....
