The Opportunity An ambitious and growing specialist insurer is looking to appoint a Property and Casualty Underwriter to join its expanding underwriting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an underwriter looking to build a long-term career within a business where performance is recognised, development is encouraged, and progression is genuinely achievable. The successful individual will work closely with an experienced leadership team and, for the right person, there is a clear pathway towards Senior Underwriter within the next 12-18 months. The Role You''ll be responsible for underwriting a portfolio of new and existing commercial business, working closely with brokers to develop profitable relationships while delivering excellent service. The role offers a balance of new business development, renewals and broker engagement, allowing you to build your market profile while developing your technical underwriting expertise. What You''ll Be Doing What We''re Looking For We''re keen to speak with underwriters who have commercial underwriting experience, although those with additional experience will also be considered where the background is a strong fit.
